Arielle Gray is

an Alabama based photographer, with a BA in studio art from the University of Alabama (2019).

Growing up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Arielle Gray's work is inspired by the nostalgic warmth of Alabama summers and the world of film. She a recent graduate of the Yale School of Art (2023).


Arielle Gray has been featured in Art Concept Magazine, UNCERTAIN Magazine, and Luna Negra, FailSafe Zine, the Summer 2021 Curated Fridge,Vogue, PhotoVogue, Aperture, Lomography, and featured in the 2021 PhotoVogue Festival. She is a recipient of the Aperture and Google's 2021 Creator Labs Fund and Innovate Grant (Fall 2021 Cycle), and a Critical Mass TOP50 Finalist.

Most recently, she has been named as one of 20 finalist for the Aperture Portfolio Prize, has shown works at the Kranzberg Arts Foundation's Songs of Fire, Francois Ghebaly in Los Angeles, and Spazio Amanita (upcoming, July 2023).
